Hard to believe that this year it’ll be a decade since I started posting my favorite roms, music and game dev prototypes on this blog.
It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to post here, but the site still gets tons of traffic monthly so I’ve decided to put some extra effort into this and get an even better experience.
This new version of pixel glitch is much more focused, with write ups on the best in video game emulation, music, tutorials and resources.
Most importantly it’s a lot cheaper to keep the lights on thanks to the ditching of my old host that was charging me over $400 a year to run the site.
Now this blog is running on a statically generated Next.js app on Vercel, using GraphQL to pull from my personal WordPress API multi site.
To all the non dev nerds, that translates to this site running blazing fast and staying up for a fraction of the cost.
Enjoy the new site and heres to another decade of video game fun! 👾
